The BBc has interviewed Brian Negus, a blind photographer and fellow BP member, for an audio slideshow: The blind photographer.
Dr Brian Negus is registered blind but still takes photographs that have won him many fans on the photo-sharing website, Flickr.
The 62-year-old retired academic from Loughborough is also chairman of Vista, a Leicestershire-based charity that provides services for blind and partially-sighted people.
He talks about how photography has helped him see the world around him in a different way and also highlights some of his favourite shots.
Go to the audio slideshow to hear the interview and see some of Brian’s work.
