Chris Gampat

I run ThePhoblographer.com. I've worked for the likes of PCMagazine, Geek.com, Magnum Photos and others. My vision started declining when I was in High School. I can see better in my right eye than my left. While shooting, I sometimes take my glasses off to be able to see the world in two different perspectives: crystal clear (with everything in focus) and blurry except at a close range (which through my eyes actually looks a bit like the bokeh from a lens). Photography, videography, writing and music are my lives.

However, being a Blind Photographer has forced me to learn how to adapt and deliver only top quality images. Part of this comes form my...

Shooting Photos Blind- An Unfair Advantage?

Being a Blind Photographer does not mean that we are disadvantaged from our visually gifted brethren and in fact can go much further than what Jim wrote about not long ago. As a Blind Photographer, the way you see the world is different than the average person and depending on how you capture it...

The Complete Leica M9 and 35mm F2.5 Summarit Review- From ThePhoblographer.com

The review of the Leica M9 and 35mm F2.5 Summarit are now complete. Overall, this camera is recommended and is really quite good. Leica's years of working with the M series have really boiled down to what is essentially a near-perfect rangefinder. More after the jump.
