Hi, I and two colleagues are working on a tv story about blind photography for school project. We need a blind or visually impaired photographer around London as the source who wants to share his/her experience in doing this thing. Can you recommend someone around London? Regards.

Hi there! Great site. I’m a wedding photographers with a retinal coloboma and that basically leaves me legally blind in one eye. It’s great to find a resource for people who are visually impaired and who are photographers as well.

I’m also the lead blogger at the Digital Wedding Forum Blog in addition to being a full time photographer.

Thanks for the awesome resource if I can ever give you press amongst our 5000+ members let me know I’m happy to do so.

Hi – I am the mother of a beautiful 11 yr old girl – Renee who has been totally blind since birth. She sees nothing – not even light perception. At school they are doing photography and she is feeling very left out!! I came across this website and am very excited to be able to tell her that she can do photography. Could you please tell me the first step in helping her learn to take photos? It would be very much appreciated. We live in New Zealand and as far as I am aware there are no courses for this here. Thank you very much

    Hi,

I am very delighted to find this website and you photographers who have low vision or are blind. I have 3 professional; cameras that are all now dinosaurs.

I have never owned an autofocus or digital camera, and I would love to learn from you how to regain my passion.

    Ai Squared, the inventor of
zoomText enlargement software, recently ran an article on low-vision photography. Did any of you see it?

I would love to hear more about your craft.
